<p>This deluxe aluminum cover is a full 1 3/4" thick with an insulating value of R14. The inner foam core is an
"expanded poly styrene" that is triple sealed to prevent any possibility of water absorption. The outer top
aluminum covering is 0.02" thick aluminum and comes in your choice of 8 different designer colors. The bottom
is constructed of a thick fiberglass sheet for added strength and to resist any damage from chemicals. The edge
of the cover is reinforced with a thick anodized aluminum c-channel for extra strength and durability. A rubber
gasket around the bottom edge assures a positive seal to your spa for maximum heat efficiency.</p>
<p>This aluminum cover is a true safety cover, as it is UL listed, meeting the ASTM safety standards for a
manual lift spa cover. Knawing dogs, active children, blazing sun or heavy snows, these covers will hold up
to 1000 pounds and stand up to the worst abuse.</p>
