Do you mean leaving it all connected and testing to see if power is getting to the motor?
Or bypassing the electics and seeing if the motor will pump the water or not independently?
The second option I can do, but I dont have a clue how to test if power is getting to the motor or not, I am a complete amateur and never touch electics when its plugged in as I'm likely to electrocute myself!
