Okay, didnt fancy paying £400+ labor for a new motor so had a bit of a play with it, unhooked it from the electronics and wired it straight to a poewer supply and it worked absolutely fine.
Dont know much about electrics but someone said to me that as the motor works it may be the relays?
so I opened the metal box and found what looked like the relays (little white box with connectors on top?) I then for some reason decided to hook it back up to the motor one more time and LO AND BEHOLD, IT WORKED.
put the whole thing back together thinking that maybe it had just been a loose connection somewhere and now the motor still works when the knob is turned but the jets light doesnt come on when the jets button is pressed!
I havent filled it back up yet just in case I needed to take the motor off again, is this the problem?, does it need to be full for the jets to function? or am I going to have to take the bloody thing apart again?
Thanks in advance for replies,
John.
