The easiest solution is to replace it with another Softub motor that already has a heat exchanger attached. Theoretically, you could save a bunch of money using an aftermarket motor of the same size and voltage. The only problem would be removing the heat exchanger from the old motor and transferring it to the new motor. I must admit that I have never attempted this on a Softub motor, so I don't know if you can remove the exchanger from the existing mastic material.
