Since you seem to be equally satisfied with the dealer support you will get, I'd suggest basing the decision on the feeling of a wet test comparison (if possible). Frankly, the electronics, pumps and motors are interchangeable between the two brands. They are both heavily insulated. Frankly, as someone who services both brands, I consider the Caldera to be easier to service (therefore cheaper to service), due to the removeable side panels that are lacking on most Hot Springs tubs.
