: The manual won't help you in troubleshooting
: this problem. You will need a quality
: ohmsmeter to test the sensors. On the Blue
: Ridge, you should find the high limit sensor
: running from the board to the heater housing
: and the temp sensor usually runs from the
: board to a sensor holder in the tub shell.
: Some older versions have the temp sensor
: integrated into the top panel. What you wrote does make sense. Some of the problem stems from the fact that the spa is under the deck, so it is difficult to service it comfortably. I think I need to pull it back out again so I can get at all the necessary areas.
I'm wondering if we installed the heater correctly. Other than attaching the hoses, there were two plugs that needed to go into the "control unit." I wonder if the red-tipped plug did not go in the right spot. Would that cause the error? Or is there something else that needs to be hooked up?
I did call a local person and just left a message. I'm hoping I don't have to have him come out, but might come to that. Thanks.
