: Why would you want the original Brett Aqualine
: controls? Granted, they were good in their
: day, but you can install a nice modern,
: digital controller from Balboa instead.
: Those older Polynesian's tended to be fairly
: strong shells. As long as you have no cracks
: or blisters it can probably go another
: twenty years (with new electronics, pumps,
: etc.).

John,
My Polynesian still has the old topside control buttons with the Polynesian spa logo on the coverplate. For me it is a little bit of nostalgia to have the old nameplate/topside control panel. I will probably be replacing the old Brett Aqualine this summer, but I have been debating about going to electronic controls or staying with Pneumatic controls to continue to use the old topside controls. I know it probably sounds funny, but I like the idea of having an "antique" tub that has some of it's original parts....
