The manual won't help you in troubleshooting this problem. You will need a quality ohmsmeter to test the sensors. On the Blue Ridge, you should find the high limit sensor running from the board to the heater housing and the temp sensor usually runs from the board to a sensor holder in the tub shell. Some older versions have the temp sensor integrated into the top panel.
If what I have written does not make sense to you, then you should consider hiring a pro for this repair.
