Had the electrician look at my generator and main service etc last night in prep for wiring the new spa. He told me the 5000 watt honda was too small and as it would only produce 20 amps at 240 volts. I need at least 30 amps to run the spa in the lowest amperage mode. So I am abandoning the generator project and will have to learn how to protect it some other way.
