I cannot speak much about the Artesian as I only seem to work on two or three a year (they just don't seem to be popular around here). On the other hand, I work on Jacuzzi and Sundance tubs on a daily basis. I would point out to you that the J355 has the better electronics compared to the Bahia. The electronics used in the J355 is the same electronics that are used in the higher end Sundance tubs (the so-called LCD controller) versus the lower end electronics used in the Bahia (the so-called LED controller). The higher end controller is more feature rich and more robust.
Don't get me wrong. The Bahia is a great tub. If you prefer the arrangement of the Bahia, then by all means, go with the Bahia. However, if it is a toss up between these two, then I suggest you may be better off with the superior electronics of the J355.
