2 tablespoons isnt an excessive amount....i use 3 tablespoons to shock so just consider the tub shocked for the week. if you want to leave the tub uncovered for an hour or maybe draw off some of the water and replace it, thats another way too. but 2 tablesppons is NOTHING to worry about. just a question, what regiment are you using on your tub and how much do you normally use to shock weekly??
