Follow John's advice for the hot tub I'm one that's lost after the incoming lugs on the tub.......As far as the 5000 watt Generator if you have a 5KW heater in the tub that will max out the generator so everything else in the house must be turned off otherwise you risk ruining the Refrigartor's motor or the furnace motor if they try to run while the hot tub heater is on.
