Re: GFCI keeps tripping

If you can believe this, the water level was just low enough to create a water funnel at the filter that let some air into the plumbing. The pressure valve tripped with the change in pressure. After adding some water (a couple of inches worth) the problem was resolved.
: Hi David: The first thing I would check for is
: a leak at the pump. If the pump has a bad
: seal or a leaking fitting, this could cause
: your motor to pull water into its self. The
: motor would then trip the GFI. Once the
: motor had a chance to dry out, the breaker
: could be reset.: If the pump is dry then I would disconnect the
: wiring from the heater. Reset the breaker
: and let the spa run. If the does not trip
: the breaker, then you will know it is the
: heater.: Try these two tests and let us know.
