: In the past couple of weeks when using the spa
: there is a chemical mist or something in the
: air causing me to cough and irratate my
: throat. It reallly hasn't bothered my
: skin...maybe my eyes now that I think about
: it. I hate to admit it, but I haven't tested
: my water in probably two months. Again, the
: coughing only started about two weeks ago. I
: will test my water this evening...my spa
: retailer said my ph may be low. All of the
: chemicals seem so confusing, if the ph is
: very low and I need to raise it drastically
: then I 'll either have to use spa up or soda
: ash...I don't have soda ash, I do have spa
: up.
: How much neglect is needed to damage your
: equipment? I'm fearful I may have damaged my
: beautiful $9,000 spa!!
Make a quick trip to Wal-Mart and buy some PH+, I am not sure what spa up is but you should check your water once a week buy you a Taylor Kit form here and do not depend upon the test strips, there is a big difference between the two, the kit is the way to go.![]()
