Please be aware that 120 volt hot tubs generally require the services of an electrician when you first install the tub. 120 volt tubs can come in 15 amp or 20 amp configurations. The 15 amp tubs can physically be plugged into a standard 120 volt outlet, but these tubs are supposed to be on their own dedicated circuits, not on an existing circuit serving other devices in the house. The 20 amp tubs will have a special cord cap on the end that will not fit into a standard receptacle. In any event, if you do plug a 120 volt tub into an existing, non-dedicated circuit, you may damage the tub and it would not be a warrantable condition.
Just about every major tub manufacturer has at least one tub available for 120 volt use. Many 120 volt tubs are also capable of being field converted to 240 volt operation at a later date.
